Photo Friday: Bryce Canyon, UT

[singlepic=1896,588,,,left]On Monday, Steve Bamberger shared with us the power of unplugging, if even for a week. He recently took some time between jobs (which too few people do) to explore the Southwest with our very own Sherry Ott. And this Photo Friday comes from one of the most beautiful spots in the country: Bryce Canyon UT.

“This picture was taken at sunrise. I got up before 5am and brought the tripod with me. It took a half dozen tries but I finally got the shot I wanted. Five minutes later the light took on the harsh tones of daylight and the moment was gone.”

Adds Sherry: “I liked sleeping in that day! :)”

We think it was well worth the effort to get up for such a beautiful shot. What have you done to get the “perfect” picture?

Beautiful spot! As a former resident of Utah, photos like this one make me miss the beautiful landscape there. Great photo Sherry 🙂
