Photo Friday: Venice, Italy

[singlepic=1880,334,,,left]This Photo Friday is from Christy Woodrow of Ordinary Traveler and was taken in Venice, Italy.

“Travel is more than just a vacation for us. It’s about learning new languages, exploring how different cultures live, and opening our minds to all that is out there. Our goal is to travel the world with a purpose and to give back to humanity through our travels, whether that be with monetary donations or volunteering our time.

While walking the streets of Venice, I came across this painter and the scene seemed picture perfect.”

Ahh, Venice. What a magical, mystical place. Thanks for sharing and jolting back some memories of my own meanderings there one October week many years ago (though it feels like yesterday). Salute’!

Great pic–I’m dying to go to Venice! I didn’t make it there on my last trip to Italy, but I hope I can get there next time.

Thanks guys for featuring one of our photos! This is one of my favorite shots from 6 weeks of traveling through western Europe. Venice is a magical place, for sure.
